I’m Chris Cook. I started playing drums aged 11 with my school marching band in Ipswich, then progressed to sixth form concerts with other musicians at the school. After leaving school, I joined a local band in Portsmouth and have kept playing ever since, building my skills with lessons and courses on drum technique.
My influences include British rock bands from the 70’s, especially Led Zeppelin, but also including modern rock such as the Foo Fighters and Rival Sons. I’m also passionate about soul and funk drumming.
My favourite styles to play are rock, funk and jazz but overall, I just love playing the drums.
